Playing the Part: Spirits in October; Jazz and Arts on Riverdale; Junior League's Rock n Read; and Taste of the Arts

Halfway through my crazy month. I got my lines down for Spirits in October- FINALLY. I mean I really think Suzanne Doonan was going to strangle me, cause this time last week... it was iffy. In fact I almost asked if I could keep notecards. BUT- thanks to Weldon, one of my fellow Mary Evans Glass actors, I got it down. And thank you to David to listening to my lines over and over again... and my sweet lil babies for also listening over and over again. (A tip: if you want to memorize lines, fighting talking over and 2 and 3 year old will help.)

So, since my lines are down- yall please come and see me since I am no longer concerned with embarrassing myself. Sound good? Great!

Also this weekend is the Jazz and Arts on Riverdale event. It's an easy walk from my house so I will for sure be there, and frankly Georgia plays Kentucky and I'm just not thrilled at all with how the last game went. So I am not really interested in the other games anymore- for the moment. And the game is at 7- so no excuses there. You can always discover something new here, whether it is a piece of jewelry or art. I know for sure that Karli Campbell of Knot + Bow Designs will be there.

And another family friendly event this weekend is Junior League of Macon's Rock n Read Fest. This is the FIRST year for this event and it's from 4 til 7 with Sterling Waite opening for the SunDollars. Children's activities start at 4 with bouncy houses, face painters, story tellers and SO much more!

So here's my suggestion: start at Arts on Riverdale (it's from 12 til 7), then go to Rock n Read, THEN head to Spirits in October. That's my schedule! DVR the games just in case Georgia decides to show up to play, and run your errands in the morning. That's on Saturday- now on Friday also be sure to attend the Broadway Night at St.Paul's Episcopal Church along with Spirits in October. There will be some surprise special guests from the Macon art's community too!

Now- next weekend. Not only is there Spirits in October but it's also Taste of the Arts. If yall could just click that hyperlink and buy some tickets that would REALLY help me out tons- I'm on the committee and it would be nice if I could help sell a large number of tickets. ;) I have figured out my dress, I just need to find some shoes and book my stylist to do my hair and makeup. I'll fill yall in on THOSE details on my Make It Work Molly blog. It's really going to be an amazing event, my dear friends Tori and Collin are in charge and any party they are a party of is super fabulous- but yall know that from past blog posts.

Ok. I'm exhausted... I'm looking forward to October being done. But I'm sure November and December will bring event more fun stuff with events like Festival of Trees! Til next time yall...
