So, as if I don't have enough on my plate I am starting another blog. Now- am I a masochist? Eh, maybe. But I do have a reason for doing this. You see, I've had multiple people ask me to feature them in some way on my Make It Work Molly blog. However, they may not be directly related to fashion. So therefore I am starting this blog.
For whatever reason, some people seem to find my exploits rather interesting. So this is simply what this is for! Whether it's some event I attend one weekend or a friend's party or even a sale somewhere (and this would actually probably be cross posted with Make It Work Molly) I will post it here. And while I am now trying to post at least twice a week at the other site, this will be more haphazard. Just whenever I come across something.
So, what will be my inaugural post? Last week's open house event in Beall's Hill hosted by Historic Macon. Now, I am rather partial to historic homes in general, and I am a new member of Historic Macon's Young Patron membership. Myself and some friends went in three houses on Ash Street- two being historic restorations and one being new construction. It's my opinion that what is being done in Beall's Hill is super fantastic, with the added benefit of support from Mercer University and the City of Macon through grants towards down payments. More people should really be taking advantage of this. I was encouraged to see such a great turnout at this event.
That same evening, Margarita's in Mercer Village was offering a percentage of their proceeds to go towards Historic Macon. Very, very cool however I did not quite make it over there.
So, what's next for me? Who knows!
